Mr. A.V Mathew started out with a sweet shop named St.George Bakery in 1973. His son Mr. Jose Mathew took over aiming it to flourish in 1979.He together with his doting wife Mrs. Lilly Jose expanded the same with their passion and hard work.

Owing to the growing demand, in 2000, we moved to a new location with a new name – St George Taste Buds. This was a big milestone in our history.

We have been in the business for 50 years. The business was started by our grandfather Mr. Av Mathew, and it started out as a small grocery shop. He ran this business for as long as he could and passed it onto his son Mr. Jose Mathew, (our dad) in 1979; once he had full control over the business he renamed the grocery shop’s name to the St George Bakery. Over the years, with the love and support of our mom Mrs. Lilly Jose, he has been able to take the family business to another level. Our Dad invested his time and energy into this business and made it well known all around.

Our mission and vision is to keep on serving our customers with high quality, tasty food that ensures that they will keep coming back for more. Our ultimate goal has been to achieve 100% satisfaction; we have been and will be able to keep achieving it in the future, and that will only be possible because of our products, and services that we provide you with.
